The Extra Arm project is situated between my intent and practice in electronic prototyping and coding. Towards the completion of a unique extra arm that will be designed to attach to the user and controlled with human connectivity. The project uses speculative design elements to inspire a more alternative aesthetic and function, namely, acknowledging the advancements within cinema in the visualization of artificial limbs. This territory is at the intersection of the bionic, prosthetic, and robotic areas. This is an emerging area of superfluidity and speculation. That boarder’s art practice, advanced robotics and with the potential for multiple applications.
